Interior teaser pic? I know it sounds weird, but who’s searching for logic in these bizzare automotive times we live in. Anyway, that’s how GM decided to preview its upcoming 2008 Chevrolet Malibu sedan that will make its premiere in January at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.

Along with the pic came a short note from Ed Peper, Chevrolet General Manager who quoted: “The next-generation Chevrolet Malibu's interior showcases the precision and detailed execution that will differentiate it among the mid-size car segment. The 2008 Chevy Malibu will offer a number of striking and progressive interiors that use premium materials to demonstrate quality and value not seen before in this segment.”

While we can’t say anything about the quality before we actually see it with our…own hands, Chevy designers seem to have done quite a nice job with the styling -even though we can see a lot of… Saturn Aura elements in it (check the pick bellow).
